  Anyone know of a safe downloader for movies on youtube?

  Looking for suggestions, I'm being called on by a JW

  just before the pandemic affected my area, a couple of jws came to my door.

  this was the first time i didn't tell them to hit the road but instead had a pleasant conversation with them.

  i never revealed that i am a former jw, nor do i ever want the jws in my area to know that i was ever one.

  I was thinking about mentioning the pandemic of the early 1900s (Spanish Flu). The total slaughter of people during the 1930s and 1940s; Germany and the Jews and others they consider undesirables, Japan and the Chinese people, Russia and their own citizens, just to name a few.

  Trust me this isn't a good idea. All that will do is confirm in her mind that we're living in the last days, because that's when they all took place.

  P.S.

  Even if you personally don't believe in the Bible, jumping all the way to skepticism probably won't be good as that would just raise their defenses to everything you say.

  for me it was watching a brother have a heart attack during the meeting in the auditorium.

  i was a kid and noticed him shaking and acting strange.

Take a look at some edits done by JWs which promptly had to be deleted.

  First there's this gem of a paragraph that was added:

  We people at The Kingdom hall of Jehovah witnesses we don't want to capture people so they can be in our religion the fact is we,us all people who are in a religion of Kingdom hall of Jehovah witnesses we want all people to know exactly what the word or name Jehovah means and what does Jehovah want us to do in case we want to teach people the meaning of all things Jehovah want us to do

  One user tried to change the founder from Charles Taze Russell to Jesus Christ, and along that line another changed to founder to:

  Jesus through the use Charles Taze Russell

  and then added the note:

  we were not founded by our dear brother russell rather christ used him to jumpstart the preaching work and to unite us

  Yet another added this:

  But in reality The practice of being a Jehovah's witnesses wasn't "founded" by Russell at all.What was to be considered "founded"was the adaptation of the name.The practice itself is believed to be started millions of years ago

  Millions of years ago??🤪 I guess they don't know their own theology. They also added this reason for the edit:

  One part of the article says:

  Jehovah's Witnesses are best known for their door-to-door preaching, distributing literature such as ''The Watchtower'' and ''Awake!"

  Then somebody changed "distributing" to "placing" and added this at the end:

  that helps to better people’s lives and teaches the right way a Christian should worship Jehovah God

  Another user simply deleted the following sentence just because they didn't like it, and probably thought it was apostate lies:

  The policies for Jehovah's Witnesses' handling cases of child sexual abuse have been the subject of various formal inquiries.
